  2. Welcome to the AMBER: Journeys Beyond™ interactive demo

  4. What you'll need
  5.  • Disk-space -- None, the interactive demo can be run directly from a CD-ROM. If you have downloaded this demo from an online source, you'll need about 24 MB of hard disk space for the demo folder. NOTE that the demo application should remain in its folder; make an alias if you want to launch it from the desktop.
  6.  • System Software -- The interactive demo requires QuickTime version 2.1 or higher and Sound Manager 3.1 or higher. 
  7.  • Memory requirements -- 8 meg minimum RAM (with 4096k free once system software is loaded). If you are unsure how much free RAM you have, quit all open applications and choose About This Macintosh from the apple menu:

  21.  • Display -- requires a 640 x 480 monitor or larger, capable of displaying 16-bit graphics (thousands of colors)
